Sign in with your Apple ID
Your Apple ID is the account that you use to access all Apple services and make all of your devices work together seamlessly. After you sign in, you can use the App Store, iCloud, iMessage, Apple Music, Apple TV+, and more.

Sign in on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro
Open the Settings app.Tap Sign in to your [device].Choose a way to sign in:Use Another Apple Device (iPhone and iPad only): If you have another iPad or iPhone that’s signed in with your Apple ID, bring that device nearby and follow the instructions on both devices to complete sign-in.*Sign in Manually: Enter your Apple ID (or an email address or phone number that you use with Apple services) and your password. If prompted, enter the six-digit verification code sent to your trusted device or phone number to complete sign-in.
When you're signed in with your Apple ID, you can find the email addresses and phone numbers that you can use to sign in, as well as add additional email addresses and phone numbers: Settings > your name > Sign-In & Security.
If you're already signed in on the iPhone paired with your Apple Watch, you will automatically be signed in to that Apple ID on your watch. Learn more about how to set up and sign in to your Apple Watch.
* To sign in with another Apple device, Bluetooth must be turned on for both devices and both devices need compatible software. If you don't see the option to Use Another Apple Device or it isn't working, update to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS on both devices.
Sign in on your Mac
Choose Apple menu > System Settings. In earlier versions of macOS, choose Apple menu > System Preferences.From the sidebar, click Sign In with your Apple ID. In earlier versions of macOS, click Sign In.Enter your Apple ID (or an email address or phone number that you use with Apple services) and your password. If prompted, enter the six-digit verification code sent to your trusted device or phone number and complete sign in.
When you're signed in with your Apple ID, you can find the email addresses and phone numbers that you can use to sign in, as well as add additional email addresses and phone numbers: System Settings > your name > Sign-In & Security.
Sign in on Apple TV
To open Control Center, press and hold the TV button on the Siri Remote or Apple TV Remote.Select Add User and follow the onscreen instructions.

If you use two-factor authentication on an Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation), you might need to enter a verification code with your password. Learn how to get a verification code on your trusted device or sent to your trusted phone number.
Sign in on the web
Use your Apple ID to sign in to Apple websites.
iCloud.com - Use iCloud from anywhere by signing in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.Apple Account - Manage your Apple ID by signing in to appleid.apple.com with your Apple ID.
If you're already signed in to your device with your Apple ID and your device has Touch ID or Face ID, you can use it to sign in to iCloud.com or appleid.apple.com.
You might also be able to sign in to any Apple website using a passkey. Enter your Apple ID (or an email address or phone number that you use with Apple services), then select "Sign in with Passkey" from the sign-in screen. Follow the onscreen instructions to use your iPhone or iPad to sign in using a passkey.
To sign in using a passkey, you need a supported web browser, Bluetooth enabled on the device that you're browsing on and your iPhone or iPad, and iCloud Keychain enabled on your iPhone or iPad.
Sign in on apps and other devices
You can use your Apple ID on some third-party devices to sign in to Apple services like Apple Music, the Apple TV app, and more.
Depending on your device, you might need to use an app-specific password.
Sign in to use Apple Music, the Apple TV app, and more on your other devices
You can sign in to Apple Music on Android, or sign in to the Apple Music app or Apple TV app on your Windows PC, smart TV, game console, or streaming device.
On your Windows PC, you can also sign in to iTunes for Windows to buy movies and TV shows.
Sign in to use iCloud on your other devices
On your Windows PC, you can set up and sign in to iCloud for Windows to access photos, documents, and more.

Use Sign in with Apple on third-party apps and websites
If you see a Sign in with Apple button on a participating third-party app or website, you can use your existing Apple ID to quickly set up an account and sign in.

When you sign in to the App Store and other media services for the first time, you might need to add a credit card or other payment information. You can’t sign in to the App Store and other media services with more than one Apple ID at the same time, or update the content you buy with a different Apple ID. Depending on how you created your Apple ID, you might be prompted to upgrade to two-factor authentication on an eligible device, or complete account setup on the web.

Manage and use your Apple ID
Your Apple ID is the account you use to access Apple services like the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, and more. You can sign in to all Apple services with a single Apple ID and password.
Sign in with your Apple ID
Use the same Apple ID every time you're asked to sign in to an Apple device or service. You can sign in with your Apple ID, or with other email addresses or phone numbers on file in your Apple ID account. You can find these additional email address and phone numbers in Settings (or System Settings) > your name > Sign-In & Security.
If you don't have an Apple ID, learn how to create a new Apple ID.
You can use your Apple ID to:
Automatically set up all of your Apple services when you set up a new device and sign in with your Apple ID.Keep your personal content up to date on all of your devices with iCloud.Sign in to the iTunes Store, Books Store, and App Store to make purchases and access previous purchases. Sign in to Messages and FaceTime1 to talk and text with friends and family.Sign in to third-party apps and websites with Sign in with Apple.

Manage your Apple ID
Because your Apple ID is used across all your devices and services, it's important to keep your account information up to date. Simply sign in to appleid.apple.com2 at any time to manage your account:
Update trusted phone numbers and devices that you're currently signed in to with your Apple ID.Change your password to help maintain the security of your account.Update your Apple ID email address3 to make sure it's an address that you use frequently.Add additional email addresses to help people find and communicate with you on Apple services like FaceTime1, iMessage, and Find My. You can also use these email addresses to sign in to your Apple ID.Update the birth date associated with your Apple ID.Change your Apple ID country or region.

Help us protect your account
The security and privacy of your Apple ID is very important to us. Here are some things you can do to make sure your account remains private and secure:
If you haven't already, set up two-factor authentication to add an extra layer of security to your account. Depending on when you created your Apple ID, it might already be protected by two-factor authentication. If you can't set up two-factor authentication, reset your security questions and add a rescue email address. If you forget your password or the answers to your security questions, your rescue email address will help you regain access to your account.Learn about best security practices for your Apple ID.
FaceTime isn't available in all countries or regions.Depending on how you created your Apple ID, you might be required to provide additional information or change your Apple ID username from a mobile phone number to an email address.In China mainland and India, you can use your phone number as your Apple ID. In China mainland, you might be required to provide a +86 phone number for your Apple ID. You can change the number later, or change your country or region to a location that doesn't require it. This number is only used for verification purposes.

How to create a new Apple ID
With your Apple ID, you can access all Apple devices and services — such as iCloud, the App Store, and more.
Create your Apple ID on iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision ProCreate your Apple ID on MacCreate your Apple ID on a Windows PCCreate your Apple ID on another device
Not sure if you have an Apple ID, or forgot what it is? You might be able to sign in to your device or on the web with an email address or phone number that you use with Apple services.
When you're signed in on your device, you can find and add additional email addresses and phone numbers that you can use to sign in to your Apple ID. Open Settings (or System Settings), select your name, then choose Sign-In & Security to see these options.

Create your Apple ID on iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro
You can create a new Apple ID when you set up your device, or set it up later in the App Store.
Create your Apple ID when you set up your device
Tap "Forgot password or don't have an Apple ID?"Tap Create a Free Apple ID.Select your birthday and enter your name. Tap Next.Tap "Use your current email address," or tap "Get a free iCloud email address."Follow the onscreen steps to verify your email address, create a strong password, set your device region, and set up two-factor authentication. If you choose to skip this step, you'll be prompted to do this later in Settings.
Create your Apple ID using the App Store on your device
Open the App Store and tap the My Account button.Tap Create New Apple ID. If you don't see this option, make sure that you're signed out of iCloud.Follow the onscreen steps to provide an email address, create a strong password, and set your device region. The email address that you provide will be your new Apple ID.*Enter your payment method and billing information, then tap Next. You can also choose None. You won't be charged until you make a purchase. Confirm your phone number. This can help to verify your identity and recover your account if needed. Tap Next.Check your email for a verification email from Apple and verify your email address.
After you verify your email address, you can use your Apple ID to sign in to the App Store and other Apple services such as iCloud.
* In China mainland, you might be required to provide a +86 phone number for your Apple ID. You can change the number later, or change your country or region to a location that doesn't require it. This number is only used for verification purposes.Apple IDs can be created on an iOS device with iOS 9 or later.
Create your Apple ID on Mac
Choose Apple menu > System Settings. In earlier versions of macOS, choose Apple menu > System Preferences.Click Sign In with your Apple ID from the sidebar. In earlier versions of macOS, click Sign In.Click Create Apple ID, then follow the onscreen steps to provide an email address, create a strong password, and set your device region. The email address that you provide will be your new Apple ID.* Enter your payment method and billing information, then click Continue. You can also choose None. You won't be charged until you make a purchase.Check your email for a verification email from Apple and verify your email address.
After you verify your email address, you can use your new Apple ID to sign in to the App Store and other Apple services such as iCloud.

Apple IDs can be created on a Mac with OS X Capitan or later.
Create your Apple ID on a Windows PC
On your Windows PC, you can create an Apple ID in the Apple TV app, the Apple Music app, or iTunes for Windows.
In the Apple TV app or Apple Music app
Click Sign In at the bottom of the sidebar.Click Sign In.Click Create New Apple ID.Follow the onscreen steps to provide an email address, create a strong password, and set your device region. The email address that you provide will be your new Apple ID.*Enter your payment method and billing information, then click Continue. You won't be charged until you make a purchase. You can also choose None, but you won't be able to make purchases until you enter a payment method.Check your email for a verification email from Apple and verify your email address.

In iTunes for Windows
Open iTunes for Windows.From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen or at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account > Sign In. Then click Create New Apple ID.Follow the onscreen steps to provide an email address, create a strong password, and set your device region. The email address that you provide will be your new Apple ID.*Enter your payment method and billing information, then click Continue. You won't be chaged until you make a purchase. You can also choose None, but you won't be able to make purchases until you enter a payment method.Check your email for a verification email from Apple and verify your email address.
* In China mainland, you might be required to provide a +86 phone number for your Apple ID. You can change the number later, or change your country or region to a location that doesn't require it. This number is only used for verification purposes.
Create your Apple ID on another device
To create your Apple ID on an Apple TV, Android device, smart TV, or streaming device, you can usually follow the steps provided onscreen and enter your full name, date of birth, an email address or phone number, and a payment method. If you set up the Apple TV app on your smart TV, you might be redirected to activate.apple.com to create your Apple ID. You can also use the steps below to create your Apple ID on the web.
Create your Apple ID on the web
Go to appleid.apple.com and click Create Your Apple ID.Follow the onscreen steps to provide an email address, create a strong password, and set your device region. The email address that you provide will be your new Apple ID.*Enter a phone number that you can always access.Check the boxes to subscribe to Apple Updates if you'd like. This keeps you up to date on the latest news, software, products, and services from Apple.Click Continue.Follow the onscreen steps to verify your email address and phone number.
After you verify your email address, you can use your new Apple ID to sign in to the App Store and other Apple services such as iCloud.
* In China mainland, you might be required to provide a +86 phone number for your Apple ID. You can change the number later, or change your country or region to a location that doesn't require it. This number is only used for verification purposes.
If you see a message that you need to sign in to iTunes
If you created your Apple ID on the web and see a message that you need to sign in to iTunes, follow the steps below for your device:
On iPhone or iPad: Open Settings, then tap Sign in to [device]. Then sign in with your Apple ID.On Mac: Choose Apple menu > System Settings, then select Apple ID and sign in with your Apple ID. On Apple TV: Sign in to the App Store or other Apple services with your Apple ID. You can also open Settings, then tap Users and Accounts. Select Add Default User or Add New User and sign in with your Apple ID, then follow the prompted steps.On an Android device: Go to tv.apple.com or music.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.On a PC: Go to the Microsoft Store, then download and install iTunes, the Apple TV app, or the Apple Music app and sign in with your Apple ID.
